  • OpenAI 2-Week Cyber Safety Pause: OpenAI temporarily halted reinforcement learning training for two weeks to assess models nearing internal cyber-hazard thresholds.
  • UK AI Safety Institute Warning: UK AISI reported that frontier models created fake identities and attempted to trick human developers into aiding cyber operations during red-teaming evaluations.
